General Questions How do I change my password? This can be accomplished by going to "Tools" (in the menu navigation) and clicking on "Change Password" What should I do if I have forgotten my username or password? You can have this information sent to the email address you have on file by going to Login Reminder. How do I change my email address? You can change your email address on the "Edit Profile" page. Here, you can change other information, including search preferences, about your profile. You will find this link in the "Profile" navigation menu. After you've made your changes, click "Submit" at the bottom of the page. Why am I not receiving mail from Sensual Swingers? Depending on your email provider and/or your email settings, these messages are sometimes delivered to the Bulk/Spam folder.
To ensure you receive all e-mails from Sensual Swingers, please add admin@sensual-swingers.com to your address book. Am I allowed to share my personal information, such as my e-mail address, phone number, and/or Instant Messenger name with other members? Once you feel comfortable with another member, you are welcome to share your information via a private message, private chat, or text message only. However, this type of information is prohibited within your Sensual Swingers profile. This measure is put into place for the safety of our members. If a profile is found to have personal information, the information will be removed promptly (either by our filters or Sensual Swingers staff) and a warning will be given to the member. After a warning is given, and the same profile is found in a second violation, the account will be terminated as per Sensual Swingers Terms of Service. What is the purpose behind Instant Messenger; how do I benefit from it? This is a faster way of communicating with other members of the site who are online. When you send a message, the recipient will receive the message and could reply. How does "My Matches" work? My Matches searches our database to find other members that fit your selected profile criteria. When someone emails me, where does the email go, and how do I respond? When a member sends you an email, it goes straight into your onsite message Inbox. We then send an email to your personal email address and let you know you have a message waiting. To read the email, simply login to the site, and go to your Inbox. If you decide to write back, click "reply", write your own note and send away. Your message will go straight into the member's onsite Inbox, and we'll let them know it's there with an email to their personal email address. All communications with other members stay onsite, so you never have to give out any personal information until you feel completely comfortable. Then, when you are ready, you can exchange information.
Verified Member / VIP Member What is a verified member? This is a member that has been verified as a "real" person(s) by another member. How can I become a verified member? First, you will need to upload a self-image to your profile. Only members with a default profile image can be verified. Second, only verified members can verify another member as a real profile. Third, to become "Verified" you will need to meet a verified member, in person, so they can confirm you are in fact real. How do I verify someone as real after I become a verified member? As a verified member, you can click on a persons profile and in the profile navigation menu click on "Verify Me" (non-verified members will not be able to see this option). What is a VIP member and how do I become one? The VIP status is reserved for: * Club owners/managers

My Pictures I am having a problem uploading a picture; what should I do? The two most common reasons are: a) The image size is too big. Ensure you picture size is 700kb or smaller.
b) The image is in the wrong format. Ensure your picture is one of the following: .jpg .png or .gif If you are within the above standards and are still having problems, feel free to contact us at admin@sensual-swingers.com (please include your user name). Can I create a private image gallery for my profile? Yes. Create a name and password for your private gallery then upload your images. These images will be password protected. Only members who have your album password will have access to these images.
My Profile How do I edit my profile? To update your profile, click "Edit Profile" in the "Profile" navigation menu. Be sure to save your changes at the bottom of the screen when you're done. Try to put your best foot forward with at least one photo and detailed essays about your interests. The photo is key since most people feel comfortable writing to members they can see. Strive to stay positive in your essays and let the real you shine. How do I change my profile from being single to being a couple or vice versa (e.g., Couple/Single profile status)? You will need to contact us at admin@sensual-swingers.com. Due to the possibility of a member falsely changing their profile, we do not allow members to change this description. This can only be changed by Sensual Swingers customer support staff. We will not change your status if your profile text description does not match up with your request (e.g., profile headline, interest text fields).
My Membership Can I put my membership on hold or vacation? Yes. You can put your profile on "Vacation" if you will be away from the site for awhile. This will hide your profile from other members and will not show in any searches. To put your membership on hold/vacation, go to "Home" in the navigation menu. Place your cursor on "Membership Management" and click "Profile Vacation." To resume your profile status, go to "Home" in the navigation menu, place your cursor on "Membership Management" and click "Resume Profile." When I vacation my profile, does it end my membership? No. Once you purchase a membership, it will remain active for the remainder of your term. Can I cancel my membership? Yes. However, if a membership is cancelled you are not entitled to a refund of any kind (please see Terms of Service). To cancel a membership, go to "Home" in the navigation menu, place your cursor on "Membership Management" and click "Cancel Membership." In the event you wish to resume our services at a future date, you will need to acquire a new membership. Your remaining membership from the previous profile will not apply.
Event Calendar How do I post an event on the calendar? 1) In the top menu navigation place your cursor on "Calendar" and choose "Calendar" from the drop menu. 2) Find the correct month and day you wish to add an event to. 3) In the bottom right corner of the date, click the paper icon (add event icon). 4) Enter in your start date/time and your end date/time. 5) In the section titled “Event” type the name of your event (16 characters or less). 6) In the "Description" box, type your event details. 7) Choose your correct time zone. 8) You can choose if this is a recurring event or not. 9) Click "Submit" |
